Catligraphy
cat-style calligraphy

Catligraphy
Have you ever noticed how cats walk in the snow, leaving a neat set of footprints - almost a bee-line?

How they artfully curl up, and in moments of concentration when hunting they stretch almost like a line very close to the ground and literally merging with it... and how they meditate in the sun, like colorful exclamation marks.

Yes, cats also leave long scratches on wallpapers and furniture, cats carefully mark their territory (by the way, they do it with calligraphic precision). But we forgive them their minor weak points.

Because cats also incredibly elegantly fit into any environment, leaving the main trace in our souls, and we remember them even when many years (or decades) have passed after we met them, were friends with them or parted with them.

As a sign of gratitude for those little things that we do for them cats give us the shine of their eyes, the glitter of their fur, their calm breathing, and their mezmerising purring.

P.S. This poster was created especially for the exhibition of calligraphy which will be held in the National Library in Minsk, starting from September 6, 2012, the opening ceremony starting at 17:00.
